Estimating Your Concrete Project Cost

Planning a patio, sidewalk, or driveway? Here’s a quick way to estimate your concrete cost.

  1. By Bags

Check the price per bag ($5–$8 for 80 lbs).

Multiply by the number of bags:
Total Cost = Bags × Price per Bag
Example: 19 bags × $6 = $114

  1. By Cubic Yards

Convert cubic feet to cubic yards: Volume ÷ 27

Multiply by price per cubic yard ($115–$180):
Example: 0.37 × $150 ≈ $55.50

  1. By Square Foot

Area × Thickness (in feet) = Volume

Convert to cubic yards if needed: Volume ÷ 27

Multiply area by price per sq. ft. ($10–$15):
Example: 100 sq. ft. × $12 = $1,200
